The conference will be held at
Loews Le Concorde, located in the heart of the
city, within walking distance from the old town
and just beside the Plains of Abraham. We have
reserved a number of rooms at a preferential rate
for participants; please make sure that you mention
your participation to the CWRA conference in order

YOUTH ACCOMODATION
The Service
de résidences de l'Université Laval is
located on a major axis linking the Université
Laval campus to the Loews-Concorde hôtel
in a few minutes by rapid bus service (Métrobus).
uring the summer months, more than 800 units
are available at low
cost.
There are also 2 Youth hostels within 10 minutes
by foot from the Congress location
TRANSPORTATION
The City of Quebec is reachable
by an international airport (Aéroport
international Jean-Lesage), by train
(Via
Rail) and by intercity buses
(Orléans
Express, Greyhound, Intercar,
etc.). For those last two modes, the intermodal
terminal (gare
du
Palais)
is very close to the Old Quebec.
A taxi ride between the airport
Jean-Lesage and downtown Quebec City costs 32,50$
(flat rate 2008 subject to change).

The public transit system (Réseau
du Transport de la Capitale (RTC)) offers
this shuttle service between airport and hotels
as well.
